Discussion – Cross Cultural Relations
Answer the following questions and expand upon the ideas therein.
Watch the film The Color of Fear and examine your own thoughts and feelings about race, culture, and cross-cultural interactions. As you watch the film, answer these questions; 1. How did seeing the film make you feel? 2. What did you learn from the experiences of the participants? 3. What did you learn about yourself? 4. How can we apply the lessons from the seminar in the film to our learning about culture and it’s impact on human psychology?
Because this is such a heavy film and your impressions, thoughts, and feelings are very probably going to be complex. Please make sure to take the time for self care after the film if you feel the need.
